Second Councilor

Sr. Kristin Donworth brings eight years of experience to the 2020-2024 Leadership Team, having previously served on two Congregations Leadership Teams from 2008-2012 and 2016-2020. Born and raised in White Plains, NY, Sr. Kristin entered the RDC Community in 1965 and earned a Masters Degrees in Education and Education Administration and a certification in Montessori for the pre-primary grades.

Sr. Kristin serves as Property Administrator and Congregational Support Services Director.  Previously, Sister dedicated many years to education and social services, having taught in several schools in the New York Archdiocese and served in administration at both the Good Counsel Academy High School and Elementary School. As Director of Special Projects for children, Sr. Kristin led the Rainbow Connection Summer Camp.  She initiated and administered the Dannat Project, raising funds for tuition assistance to enable underprivileged children to attend Good Counsel Academy Elementary School. She was the Assistant Director of Siena House in the Bronx and has volunteered at the Grace Church Shelter Program; the S.H.O.R.E. Volunteer Program; Acted as Advisor for the Grace Church Summer Camp Program; and served as a Board Member for the St. Bernard’s Head Start Program. In addition to her dedication to her ministries and volunteer work, Sr. Kristin is an accomplished writer having had several articles for adults and children published.
