Sister Mary deLourdes (Gladys) Muench, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, died on March 30, 2005 at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Sister was born in Milford, New York the daughter of Albert and Alma (Cannon) Muench. Sister Mary deLourdes entered the Sisters of the Divine Compassion on February 2, 1928 and made her final profession on January 4, 1936. She received a B.A. degree in English from Good Counsel College and the M.A. in English from Fordham University.

Sister Mary Alphonsus (Antoinette) Fisher, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, died on February 4, 2005 at Good Counsel Convent in White Plains. Sister was born in Waterbury, CT the daughter of Ralph and Rose (DiMangano) Fisher. Sister Mary Alphonsus entered the Sisters of the Divine Compassion on February 2, 1936 and made her final profession on August 13, 1944. She received a B.S. Sister Margaret Mary Walter, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion since 1921, died on January 13, 2005 at Good Counsel Convent in White Plains. Sister was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 2, 1904 and enjoyed her 100th birthday celebration last spring. Having entered the Divine Compassion community on December 8, 1921 Sister Margaret Mary made her religious profession August 15, 1925 and her final profession on August 16, 1930. Sister Margaret Mary spent her entire religious life at Good Counsel Convent.

Sister Barbara Berbusse, (Sr. M. Roberta), RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, died on June 2, 2003 at Good Counsel Convent in White Plains. Sister Barbara was 82. She was born March 30, 1921 in Port Chester, NY, the daughter of William and Lauretta (Lyons) Berbusse. Sr. Barbara entered the Sisters of the Divine Compassion on April 26, 1940. She received a BA in English from Good Counsel College, MS in Education from Fordham University and MA in Theology from Manhattan College. Sister Mary Bernard (Catherine) Norton, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, died on March 5, 2003 at Good Counsel Convent in White Plains, Sister Mary Bernard was 98. She was born July 29, 1904 in New York City, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Menchin) Norton. Sister Mary Bernard entered the Divine Compassion Congregation on February 2, 1928. She received a BS in Education from Good Counsel College and an MS from Fordham Unversity.

Sister Mary Stanislaus (Veronica) Maguire, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, died on November 27, 2002 at Good Counsel Convent. Sister Mary Stanislaus was 99. She was born on September 26, 1903 in New York City, the daughter of John F. and Mary Kermath Maguire.

Sister Mary Francisca (Rita) Thomas, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, a former faculty member of the Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, died on August 19, 2002 at Good Counsel Convent. Sister Mary Francisca was 83. She was born April 8, 1919 in Pawling, NY, the daughter of Frank J. and Kathryn Flanigan Thomas. Sister Mary Francisca entered the Divine Compassion Congregation on September 8, 1942.

Sister Therese A. Connor, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, a field liaison project manager for Self Help Community Services, Bronx, NY, for over 12 years, died on April 29, at Good Counsel Convent. Sister Therese was 73. She was born on September 18, 1928 in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of William E. and Catherine Boyle Connor. Sr. Therese entered the Divine Compassion congregation on August 15, 1950.

Sister Mary Alberta Barry, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, a former principal of the Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in White Plains, died on March 20, 2002 at Good Counsel Convent. Sister Mary Alberta was 87. She was born June 8, 1914 in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of Joseph N. and Mary McIntyre Barry. Sr. Mary Alberta entered the Divine Compassion congregation on August 15, 1932. She received a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Good Counsel College and continued her studies at Fordham University for an M.A. degree in Mathematics.

Sister Mary Bertrand Denzlinger, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion at Good Counsel Convent in White Plains, died on March 1, 2002 at Good Counsel. She was born on July 25, 1911 in Tivoli, New York, the daughter of William and Margaret McCabe Denzlinger. Sister Mary Bertrand entered the Sisters of the Divine Compassion on August 15, 1929, having attended St. Peter's Elementary School, Poughkeepsie, New York and Good Counsel Academy High School in White Plains. She received a B.S. degree from Good Counsel College.
Sr. Theresa Brady, RDC
Sister Mary Theresa Brady, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion and former Professor of English at Good Cousel College and Pace University, died on February 15, 2002 at Good Counsel Convent in White Plains. Sister Mary Teresa was 79. She was born May 24, 1922 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Edward J. and Evelyn Schirmer Brady. Sr. Mary Teresa entered the Divine Compassion congregation at Good Counsel September 12, 1943 after her graduation from Good Counsel College with a BA degree summa cum laude.
Mother Mary Ethelburge Adames
Mother Mary Ethelburge Adames, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, died peacefully on July 15, 2001 at Good Counsel Convent. She was born on November 29, 1905 in Guernsey, Channel Islands, the daughter of John and Adah Adames. Mother Ethelburge entered the Sisters of the Divine Compassion in 1922 and professed her final vows in 1930. She graduated from Good Counsel College in 1944 with a B.S. degree in Biology.
