Sr. Ann Kavanagh, RDC
Sister Ann Kavanagh, RDC (Thomas Marie), a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion for 63 years, died after a brief illness on January 31, 2024 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey.
Sr. Ann was born in Elmhurst, N.Y. on May 20, 1939 to Charles and Catherine O’Donnell Kavanagh. Sister earned her bachelor's degree in social studies education from Good Counsel College, a master's degree in social studies education from CCNY, and was awarded a NYS Certificate in school administration.

Sr. Kristin Donworth, RDC
Sister Kristin Donworth, RDC, a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion for 59 years, died peacefully at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, N.Y. on January 23, 2024.
Sr. Mary Kristin was born in White Plains, N.Y. on June 29, 1947, the daughter of Thomas Donworth and Selina Dolan Donworth. She entered the Sisters of the Divine Compassion in 1965 and made her final vows in 1975.

Sr. Mary Robert Reilly, RDC
Sr. Mary Robert Reilly RDC, a Sister of the Divine Compassion, died peacefully on July 12, 2023.
Sr. Mary Robert was born in 1937 in New York the daughter of William and Agnes (O’Neill) Reilly. She attended St. Barnabas Elementary and High School and graduated from Good Counsel College in 1959. Sister also received an MA from Fairfield University.
Sr. Deborah Flaherty, RDC
Sr. Deborah was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 10, 1943, the daughter of Michael Flaherty and Helen Culhane Flaherty. Sister graduated from Immaculate Conception Elementary School, Cathedral High School and Good Counsel College. Sister also received an MS Degree in Library Science from Catholic University.
Sister was a teacher at Good Counsel Elementary School, Our Lady of Sorrows School and St. Lawrence of O’Toole School for many years. She was the Librarian at Good Counsel High School and the College of White Plains/Pace University.
