On November 26th, Preston’s National Honors Society hosted their annual in-school potluck! A total of 183 students and faculty donated to and attended this great event! All the food and entertainment was provided by the members of National Honors Society and its faculty council. Dr. Unger, National Honors Society's mentor, oversaw this very successful event. The proceeds, which came to a whopping $841, will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting for the victims of Alzheimer's, in honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Monies donated will be used to provide education, research funding, advocacy, local support, and resources for families and professionals in this great organization. Compassion doesn’t take a fighting body, but a fighting heart, which Preston honorably helped to shine light upon … Pass it on!
