Preston Center of Compassion or PCC for short is a welcoming community where hearts connect and lives are transformed, reaching out to share  Divine Compassion spirit, mission and community with women, children and families most in need throughout the Bronx, which includes many of the lowest socioeconomic congressional districts in the US. PCC serves over 500 families including diverse populations from Central America & Africa, Asia & Europe who come to raise families and then live in poverty, oppression, & violent neighborhoods, with failing schools and unprecedented lack of educational, emotional, family and community services or opportunities.  PCC began providing individual and family counseling services and continued to evolve and respond to ever increasing needs, expanding to provide summer and afterschool education and recreation programs, the Big Sister/Little Sister program, outreach to Senior Citizens, and ESL.  PCC collaborates with Preston HS and local public housing groups, parishes, public schools, and the Throgs Neck community action partnership to reach children, adults and families most neglected and lacking in resources.  The RDC Preston campus offers a safe haven, where people grow spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically, through the multiple empowerment opportunities offered for individuals and families to grow, connect and thrive!
