The RDC and the Duchesne Center of Manhattanville College will host noted author Paula D’Arcy on Saturday, June 2nd from 9 am to 2 pm. Her topic will be “Listening with the Heart.” She founded the Red Bird Foundation in 2001 which supports the growth and spiritual development of those in need throughout the world, including men and women in prison. The foundation has sponsored two international gatherings of women known as WOMENSPEAK, conferences honoring the voice of women as a force for peace and healing. Paula has written powerful books: Gift of the Red Bird, Waking Up to this Day, STARS AT NIGHT: When Darkness Unfolds as Light, and most recently, WINTER OF THE HEART: Finding Your Way through the Mystery of Grief.
