The People’s Climate Movement March in Washington, DC is happening on April 29th. On the same day a sister rally is planned in White Plains to express Westchester County residents’ demand for the protection of our fragile environment.

The event is sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Amityville, Blauvelt, Caldwell, Hope and Sparkill, the Maryknoll, WESPAC Foundation and Food & Water Watch. In the words of the organizers, “We join together to push forward on a vision of a clean, safe world where the rights of all people are protected and expanded – this means we all must work together!”

We will gather in White Plains at Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street at 11 AM! Bring your voices, your signs, your love of Earth and your passion for justice!!
